Yesterday at around 23h I arrived in Salzburg, Austria!! :)
I’ve decided to move to Austria because it is such a wonderful place. My mother has visited me here today and we’ve spent an awesome day together here in Salzburg with wonderful weather before she left back home to Hamburg.

Luckily, with the power of the internet, I could see that she arrived well back in Hamburg.

Long Time No See!

Sunday, February 19th, 2017

I’m sorry for the lack of communication. In two days I will be leaving Germany to start a new life in Austria! What’s going to happen there? I don’t know! But I’m really excited to find out :)

My Trip to Salzburg Austria

Friday, April 1st, 2016

For the past 2 days I’ve been in Austria Salzburg :)
This is my window view from the airplane starting from Hamburg airport and landing at Salzburg airport about 1 hour later. It has been a fantastic trip to Austria with awesome weather (even though it looks really cloudy judging by the video, the sky was clear and blue in Salzburg shortly after with around 24°C for the whole time I’ve been there) and just wonderful peaceful atmosphere. Love the alps btw :)

Sorry for the abrupt ending :P

Looking for 3D Artist for my next project

Sunday, July 13th, 2014

I’m currently looking for a talented artist (2d+3d) for my new project. I’s a horror themed FPS game created with the Unreal Engine 4. If you are an artist or you know someone who may be interested in working on a game with me, please read on :D

What you should bring:
- great experience in 3d modeling for games, rigging, texturing and animation
- great experience in 2d art, digital and non-digital
- knowledge of creating and animating monsters, characters, objects and weapons
- experience in working on a time consuming project like this
- a love for the grotesque, dark, ultra-violence, monsters and horror
- lots of time and motivation to work on an open-end project
- inspiration and your own unique ideas that will enhance the game further

Your responsibility:
- creating 3d assets for a horror themed game like monsters, level assets like furniture or crazy hell machinery, characters and weapons
- creating textures, a rig and realistic animations for models
- creating 2d art for the HUD and menus of the game
- drawing concept art for monster designs, weapons, characters and levels

What can you expect:
- financial compensation for your work as long as the project goes
- lots of artistic freedom
- a release date that isn’t too far away, but still realistic deadlines for assets
- a long, ongoing project with frequent content updates after initial release
- keeping in touch frequently, talking about new and old ideas and concepts

I consider myself an artist and I have worked with artists before and know how ‘we tick’. I’ve created 4 games so far and lots of mods for other games, so I know what I’m doing. The project is thought out and will be released in multiple steps. Maybe via early-access or a similar method that allows frequent content updates and a growing community over time.

We can discuss further details about the game via email. Think about something like Silent Hill or Dead Space. And Doom.

If you are interested or know someone who might be interested, please email me at blue@paulinthenet.de with some information about you and some art showcase (preferably with horror themed stuff you made).

Thank you very much and see ya :)

Good Bye Cruel World

Wednesday, January 29th, 2014

I’m finally moving to a different place. My cute, shitty, awesome, little apartment will be history and remain a part of me forever, but this part of my life is finally over. I’m not sad, but very excited to see what the future holds for me, even though my life is currently drifting into the shades of uncertainty.

For now, I will be moving to a big house in the middle of nowhere, which is a pleasant change from my normal in-the-middle-of-the-city-life. The only problem is my internet connection. I will probably not be able to fully access the internet from my new home, but it is only a temporary solution and I will be moving again in the time between april and june. All this means is that my projects are going to be delayed and I have no idea where my life is going from here.

This video also explains stuff:

If you want to reach me, whoever you may be, there is always my email address: paulinthenet@gmx.de

Even though the future is uncertain, there is nothing to fear. Ever.

Computer Trashed

Sunday, November 3rd, 2013

Yesterday, I tried to uninstall a small little program from my computer and instead of uninstalling the program, it UNINSTALLED MY WHOLE COMPUTER! So, today, I take the day off, to fix EVERYTHING! I wanted to upload a new video yesterday, but… that has to wait for a little bit now. Trying my best to get Doom running again ;)

Heartbroken

Monday, September 30th, 2013

After months of spending time with my girlfriend, she finally left my world to start a new life in sweden (no, I was not the reason why she left, she decided it before we even met). It is her dream to live in sweden and I will not stand in her way and I wish her all the best. I was enjoying my time so much that I actually did not really do anything else besides being with her and enjoying my time until this moment of departure finally arrived.

So, for the reason of being heartbroken and trying to get back into reality, I’ve made a new video with a special announcement for my next game.

In the near future, I will probably have more visual material of the new game to make a proper video about it.

See you then :)

And for anyone else, who might be heartbroken: never lose the horizon out of sight.
