In this video, I want to demonstrate how you can customize the way you play the game. By equipping different trinkets on your character, your whole experience of the game can change. Want to absorb lots of damage in cost of player speed? Or do you like to play as the glass-cannon that deals lots of damage but has lower chances of survival?
Trinkets have very high stats that boost or decrease certain aspects of your character to fit your playstyle.
The gameplay you can see here was recorded yesterday with my friend – it was basically a test run to see if the latest updates work over Steam. However, we had a lot of fun in this early stage and I think when the objectives and character leveling systems are in place, there is a lot of fun to be had in coop
Basically what is left for me to do is some balancing, polish and the player progression.
Second topic is the release date. I know a lot of you are eager to know when the game is finally released. Currently I’m trying my best to release the game in mid August. If some unexpected problems come up, I may push the date back by maybe a week or two, but I will keep you updated on that.

For the very first time, I was able to play my own game with another person
Please don’t judge the many issues the game currently has on the client’s side of things. This was my very first test to make sure the game gets recognized over the Steam servers, nothing more.
Basically my roommate created a game and I was searching over the Steam server if I can find and join it. And it was possible at the very first try! Just for shits and giggles, we played around a bit and had a lot of fun.
Don’t worry about the issues you can see in the video, I’ll start ironing them out right away to get the netcode polished and proper for you all to enjoy! This was just my very first time playing my own game with another person and it was really fun
New development update video! This time, I show you unlockables and the Fool! He’s the first playable character in the game.

Anyway, this video is all about Steam and Unlockables. I know, I know – not much gameplay is shown… this video is more for the people who are interested in background story and I think pretty much everyone likes character customization and Achievements. More gameplay videos will follow, don’t worry. My next target is multiplayer over the Steam servers! Fingers crossed…
New features / improvements:
- many, many balance improvements
- enemies can now “hunt you down” even if they have not seen you before – this increases tension and make enemy encounters much more frequent
- weapon mods – every weapon has 3 slots for improvements that increase stats of the weapon
- weapon pickups
- many new textures have been added and meshes have been improved
- you can die now – try to get to the golden room and back to the elevator in one piece
Please keep in mind that this is a very early alpha version of the game. There will be bugs etc, but if you look behind the rugged edges, you can perhaps see where I’m going with this. This version also doesn’t feature multiplayer – there have been a few last minute bugs that kept me from releasing it.
This is the latest update video that shows the current state of the game. I also want to announce that I will launch a public alpha test for the game in the next week. I’m currently aiming for the 5th of march.
The public alpha will be 100% free and everyone can play the game with their friends, neighbors or otherworldly beings from their basement.
